I just read Jimmy Moore's blog and I'm really excited to hear that a new Atkins book is coming out in March. It is written by the top 3 low carb researchers in the field. It takes in all the new studies and makes the plan simpler to understand. Everything is backed by the latest studies showing the high fat, moderate protein, low carb lifestyle is something to get excited about. It's entitled, New Atkins for a New You: the Ultimate Diet for Shedding Weight Fast and Feeling Great Forever. The book comes out March 2, 2010.
It talks about why it works, what you need to do to make it work, how to adapt it to your particular lifestyle and the scientific evidence that proves why it is valid. This lifestyle is not a fad and if you think it is you should read the book and research the latest evidence. I'll keep you posted on anything more I find about this book so check back.
I've been very busy lately so I didn't get around to blogging yesterday. I'm playing a little music in a local tavern with some friends tonight so I only have a few more minutes. I had low carb peanut butter on toast for breakfast, and egg sandwich on low carb wheat for lunch and two burgers smothered in onion and mustard (no bread) for dinner.
