Gleaner Feature Story

Hello, everyone.  I hope you are all doing well.  We, here at ourlowcarblife, couldn't be more excited.  The feature story about our website and our low carb experience, ran in our local newspaper, The Gleaner, today.  It took up almost an entire page!  We have had nothing but positive responses, via both e-mail and Facebook Fan comments, all day.  The story ran in the paper as well as on their website.  The web version included not only pictures, but video, too.  I'm already getting e-mail from folks asking questions about how to begin adopting this healthy lifestyle change.  I am so happy to be able to help.  We started the site for that purpose.  When you find something that does so much for you and your health, you just want to share it.  If I can be of any assistance to any of you, please don't hesitate to ask.  That's what I'm here for.
It was so funny at church this morning, as people were asking Lisa and I for our autographs and wanting to "shake the hand of a famous person" as our friend Sarah joked.  Our preacher, Brother Ted, pulled me aside and told me how positive, uplifting, and motivational he thought the article was and congratulated us for our attempts to help others.
After church, Lisa and I stopped in a local buffett and got breakfast food to go.  We loaded up on scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.  While we were going through the line, I noticed several people pointing and talking about us around their tables.  Too funny.  We went home and fed our little brood, while we (well, I) watched a couple of old Bing Crosby/Bob Hope movies and relaxed.  Lisa has spent most of the day working on the website, even though I'm trying to get her to take the day off.  It is her birthday today and she deserves a little R&R.  I love that woman more every day!  Happy Birthday, Sweet Pea!
Well, I have to go now but please check back for more exciting news in the works.  I'll keep you posted.
One more thing, here's the link to our story posted in the local newspaper today & the video:
